Internet

I wonder if years from now, sociologists will analyze our culture like we do the depression era when people escaped their tough years by going to movies.  Facebook, Pinterest and Youtube are the 21st century escapes. People generally post trivial yet funny or happy news. I like it! There's enough bad news to read - let's find something pleasant. Where else would I know about these cultural phenomena?

(At first I posted Gangnam but like going  here  better)

Or be inspired?
Church videos
There are many more but this is one of my favorites

Or  cry with happiness?

Or   laugh with Maggie and Al?

They were watching   Sorry they took it offline nut here's a similar link

Have you noticed how when young people get together, they break the ice by sharing a youtube or two?

Thanks to Facebook, our student ward friends can invite us to mission farewells, wedding receptions and our upcoming 28th Ward reunion. We know when they move, are accepted into graduate school or have babies.

I relive family events by posting pictures and tagging loved ones. I feel popular on my birthday.

And blogs! Don't even get me started.  I think blogs are more entertaining than a tv show - cleaner and more personal. Plus some are thought-provoking and an important way to share.

Do I sound like I'm trying to talk you into spending more time on the internet?
