Dr Ted!

In May Rand and I went to Rochester to celebrate with Ted, Elise and Julian, Scoggins and Condies. Ted graduated from University of Rochester Medical School,  elected to Alpha Omega Alpha (medical academic honor society) and was recognized for his service to the Hispanic community. (yes we're proud parents)

Dr Paul Griner, former chair of Dept of Medicine gave Ted and another student scholarships. Rand knew Dr Griner when he was a resident in Rochester - what goes around...  Rand got to be on stage and do the hooding of Ted; only physician relatives of the graduates get to do that. Lifetime event!

Another bonus of the trip was having Condies join us. It was so good to see them and allow them to have a vacation from taking care of our leaky old house and garden (3 so far).

Niagara Falls was exquisite!

As were the Canadian Beavertail treats. (we saved a bite for our husbands)

Julian wanted to taste the flowers at the Highland Park Lilac Festival.

but his favorite trick is sitting on Dad's head.
